I haven't posted in a while but I have been busy checking out venues. I think I have narrowed the location to either The Woodlands or downtown Houston. Both have hotels I like very much.
I've had some personal issues that have knocked my socks off this week, but all I can say is, if I ever needed the Lord, I sho nuff need him now.

Logo
I had a logo done. I noticed today my name was mispelled. I'll post it soon. It looks great. I guess the next thing I need to do is start looking for a venue. I'll start that in April. Meanwhile, I will look for favors for my guest. I also need to work on my budget before I get into this to much and over spend. My guest count will be 55-80 guest. I'll invite 80 and some will decline and about 10% will be no shows. I think anyway.

Getting started
I have been planning since last year for my 2012 birthday party. Thus far, planning has included looking at venues and decorations online. Today I contacted someone to create a logo for my favors and started my blog. I'm nervous. The ball has just begun to roll. Here's to a perfect party in 2012.
